Our podcast series documents events at the American Shakespeare Center, giving you a look at what's going on at the Playhouse from the comfort of your own computer. We offer three different podcasts released on a regular basis throughout most of the year.

This Week at the Blackfriars: Provides a rundown of the upcoming week's events at the American Shakespeare Center's Blackfriars Playhouse, including play performances, talkback sessions, lectures and brush-ups, MLitt/MFA productions, and other special events.

Doctor Ralph Presents: Pre-show lectures from American Shakespeare Center Director of Mission and Mary Baldwin College Shakespeare Professor Dr. Ralph Alan Cohen.

Blackfriars Backstage Pass: Join Dr. Cohen and ASC actors for spirited, in-depth discussions about the plays on-stage at the Blackfriars Playhouse and on tour around the country. Discussions center on bringing the shows off the page and onto the stage, the nature of the characters, audience reactions, and favorite scenes and lines. Actors will also answer questions sent in by Podcast listeners.
