Director of Development

Brenda Mead manages the development efforts of the American Shakespeare Center, with responsibility for creating and executing the Center’s annual fundraising plan.  Previously, Brenda spent 30 years in financial services and wealth management in Atlanta, GA, Las Vegas, NV and Richmond, VA with Bank of America and its predecessors.  She received her bachelors in psychology from the University of Georgia.  Brenda has served on the boards of the Richmond Symphony, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, American Heart Association (Greater Richmond), Drive-to-Work and the Richmond Chamber Foundation.
