Young Company Theatre Camp

Young Company Theatre Camp

"These are the youths that thunder at a playhouse"- Henry VIII, V.iv

imageeducationyctcalumni.jpgYCTC is the key to the original Shakespeare experience, with three weeks of immersion working in the world's only re-creation of Shakespeare's indoor theatre, the Blackfriars Playhouse.

In classes and rehearsals, actors discover how original practices-universal lighting, audience contact, simple sets, live music, taking on multiple roles and cross-gender casting-help bring Shakespeare alive for a modern audience.
