Young Company Theatre Camp (YCTC)

YCTC offers two summer Shakespeare intensives for ages 13-18.  Each three-week session offers Shakespeare study, theatre training, and performance experience on the Blackfriars stage. YCTC campers attend all professional productions at the Blackfriars Playhouse and are taught by ASC Scholars and artists.  We offer both residential and day-student options.

  

 

 

 

  

 

Midsummer Day Camp

The ASC's Midsummer Day Camp is an adventurous week of creative play, imagination, and fantasy.  This camp meets during the day for one week in the summer and is designed specifically for ages 9-12.  Campers will explore the fun of Shakespeare's language and story themes through theatre games, role playing, storytelling, music, dance, and swashbuckling!  The week ends with a camper performance specifically designed around their inventions.  All campers will have a role in the final performance.
