Chris has been designing and building props for the ASC since 2012. In that time, he's provided props for over 40 productions both in Residence and on Tour, including: The Merchant of Venice, The Lion in Winter, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Cymbeline, King John, Love’s Labour’s Lost, Twelfth Night, The Duchess of Malfi, Romeo and Juliet, Return to the Forbidden Planet, All’s Well that Ends Well, Troilus and Cressida, She Stoops to Conquer, Othello, The Merry Wives of Windsor, 1 Henry IV, Macbeth, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Comedy of Errors, Edward II, Pericles, Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, Doctor Faustus, Wittenberg, Antony & Cleopatra, Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Winter’s Tale, 1 Henry VI, Henry V, The Importance of Being Earnest and Arms and the Man. He has built beds and bodies; tentacles and tree branches; lead caskets, letters, and lots more.
He has worked as a props artisan for Hartford Stage Company and Flat Rock Playhouse, as well as a stage manager for Heritage Theatre Festival. He holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Virginia.
