Sara Vasquez

Assistant Director/Stage Manager

Sara Vazquez joins the ASC team for the
Summer and Fall seasons. After growing up
in the suburbs of Southeastern Michigan
(America’s high five), she developed her love
for Shakespeare and stage managing at
Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids,
Michigan where she received her Bachelor
of Arts in Theatre. Through the Grand
Valley Shakespeare Festival, she assistant
stage managed Loves Labour’s Lost, acted
in Cymbeline, and ran crew for Hamlet. During
that time she stage managed for Mason Street
Warehouse’s Ain’t Misbehavin’.
Recently, Sara spent several seasons
working as the Assistant to the Artistic
Director at Lexington Children’s Theatre
in Lexington, Kentucky. Her responsibilities
were varied and plentiful including stage
managing, directing, assistant directing,
acting, teaching classes, planning major
events, and making people smile. She
worked on everything from The Neverending
Story to Goodnight Moon to MisterE of
